The vertical flow clarifier is an improved version of the vortex clarifier. Under the same water quality and equipment specification, the processing efficiency of the vertical flow clarifier is close to twice that of the vortex clarifier. Its basic working principle is that the aquaculture water body enters the vertical flow clarifier through the inlet and flows out from the top of the adjustable pipe. The water flows downward in the calming well, and then solid particles with a slightly higher density than water will continue to move downward to the vicinity of the particle drain port, while the water flows upward outside the calming well, passes through the overflow weir, and flows to the next filtration device from the outlet.
