CPVC, also known as chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, is a new type of engineering plastic. This material is obtained by chlorinating PVC resin. Compared to PVC, it has advantages in temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties. Compared to PP material, its high-temperature resistance is comparable, but CPVC has stronger low-temperature resistance. At the same time, CPVC's UV resistance, corrosion resistance, and Size stability are all superior to PP materials. However, due to the higher cost of CPVC materials, unless PVC and PP materials have significant defects that prevent their use, CPVC is rarely used in actual production.

CPVC tanks are mainly used in chromium plating, electrolysis, and other working environments with high temperatures (below 90 degrees) and strong corrosion (especially chromic acid). The main processing method is hot air gun welding. Compared with PVC materials, CPVC welding requires higher temperatures and should not be done too quickly to ensure good welding strength.
